Eric is a twenty-something Cubs' fan who spends way too much time reading blogs and FanGraphs. He cried like a schoolgirl with a skinned knee on the way home from the Bartman Game. Ever since then he's done a pretty good job not letting this team bother him so much, as hard as they try. He currently resides on the North side, doesn't have cable, and owns a Starlin Castro shirt because he doesn't want to commit to a jersey.

The older (and naturally wiser) brother, Matt is a Sox fan, despite his North Side roots. He was born in the '80s, but spiritually reborn on October 26, 2005 into a strange, new world where anything, even a Chicago baseball team winning the World Series, was possible. He currently lives in Chicago with his girlfriend and two cats.
